Drilling BIG holes through your door weakens the door

The door jamb is a joke made of 3/4" thick wood with a 1inch diameter hole in it leaves 1/2inch of wood holding your deadbolt in place. The wood holding your door closed is no thicker than 2 pencils.

My Jamb plates are made from 14 gauge Stainless Steel I use 4inch long screws that go past the jamb and into the 2x4 stud |
